Zablace is situated along the coast, 8km south of Sibenik. It was first mentioned in 1432 as the medieval Zablace was known for its salt works from which today only names remained: Veliko jezero (Big lake) and Mala solina (Small salt works). This area is rich in therapeutic mud used in healing the rheumatisms.
As many Dalmatien places Zablece is place which historic development is influenced by sea, fishing, olives growing and vine making.
Nowadays, besides the traditional occupations, tourism becomes very important part of the economy of Zablace. Unusual but pleasant mixture of the old fishermen houses and luxurious villas built by the descendants of the American emigrants make Zablace unique. Big advantage is that Zablace is situated just 5 km from town Sibenik,  so tourists have peace and quiet that they  nead and if thay want to visit town it is just 5 minutes drive. Zablace offers accomodation in private rooms, apartments and in camping site situated in a thick pine forest. Beaches are situated along the coast except in centre of place where you can find a little marina and if you want you can rent a boat or book a trip to visit nearby islands. In place there can be find few of the best restorannts in region with autentic Dalmatian food, pizzeria, caffe bar, ice cream store and baker with everyday fresh bread. Also it is known that sea in front of Zablace is suteable for wind surfing. Just 1km from Zablace there is  hotel resoart Solaris with many sport and fun atractions. Apartments Grgas Tucilo are located in centre of the town  (first row to sea) just 100 m from beach. There you can chuse from cement beach and peable beach. Our guest have sicure parking. Along with accomodation we also do trips with our boats on nearby islinds and NP Krka, fishpicnics, fishing trips, sailing school and charter.
